Judy De Jonge and Colleen Todish..................“Dressing For The 18th Century”

Judy De Jonge and her husband Mike joined the 60th Royal American Light Infantry in 1990. It quickly became a family hobby when all 4 of their daughters became involved. Judy and the girls enjoy looking for fabric and planning 18th Century outfits that she sews for them. She also hand sews Mike’s clothes and regimentals. She has done sewing for friends and the last 3 years has been knitting Ranger Bonnets for Jaegers Battalion. One of her Bonnets is in the Rogers Rangers display case in the Regimental Headquarters Building of the U.S. Army 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, Georgia.She was involved in the filming of the Frontier Series for the History Channel. Colleen Todish, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been a living history interpreter for over 30 years, specializing in the colonial period. She has worked for Meijer Inc. for over 30 years and is presently a buyer assistant in the corporate office. Colleen was an extra and provided behind the scenes assistance for the award winning History Cannel series, “FRONTIER: Legends of the Old Northwest.”
